The COVID-19 pandemic has defined this moment in time. The state of Indiana re-opened for business on May 4, 2020, but that does not mean business as usual. How does information technology leaders manage in times of crisis? Did the pandemic require a different response to crisis management? What lessons can we take from this current situation?

The Northeast Indiana Chief Information Officer (CIO) Forum will meet on Friday, May 29, at 11:30 AM, via Zoom video teleconferencing. 

Join the second quarter Northeast Indiana CIO forum for an informative discussion with three leading IT professionals. Ron Double, Parkview Regional Health System, Bob Francis, SDI, and Julie Freigang, Franklin Electric, will discuss the questions above and much more during our virtual CIO meeting on Friday, May 29 at 11:30 AM, via Zoom video teleconferencing. Other topics that are top of mind include:

  • Pivoting (adjusting to a new normal)

Techapalooza is scheduled for June 3-5, 2020. It will also be virtual this year.  NE IN CIO Forum members should plan on meeting Friday, June 5, at 10:30 to welcome back Richard Sheridan.

The Indiana Chapter of Infragard, Commercial Facilities and Education Sectors are in need of information and physical security leaders to assist in the execution of the 2nd Annual InfraGard Commercial Facilities and Education Summit. This summit is generally in September.  Contact  Clifford Clarke for more information and to assist.  All potential candidates must pass an FBI background check.

About the Forum

IT LeadershipThe Northeast Indiana Chief Information Officer (CIO) Forum is comprised of Information Technology leaders (CIOs, IT Directors, and IT Strategists). We meet quarterly, generally from 7:30 – 9:30 AM in various locations, sponsored by the group or other strategic partners, to discuss IT issues, trends, and best practices. This conversational series of sessions are designed to allow the free and confidential exchange of ideas so that CIOs and IT leaders can optimize their Information Technology operation. 

The Northeast Indiana CIO Forum self-select the topics. The attendance in the group is limited to optimize the discussion. It is not a sales meeting of any type, although we do review appliances, applications, tools, and methodologies. It is designed to help CIO and IT Leaders remain connected to technology trends.
