The February REF Global CIO Forum is hosted at the Innovation Park entrepreneurship center at the University of Notre Dame, 1400 E Angela Blvd., South Bend, IN 46617, on February 9, 2023.  Our featured speaker is Doug Theis.  Doug is the Director of National Strategy for Expedient, an award-winning multifaceted information technology solution provider.  Doug is also the founder of ITLeaders Indianapolis.  IT LeadersIndianapolis is a peer group for IT professionals with direct reports. The group meets to network, connect with mentors, learn leadership skills and hear guest CIO speakers. The goal is to help the current and next wave of staff IT leadership be better prepared to take their organizations to the next level.

Staff development is essential for talent retention.  Several chief information officers provide numerous opportunities for the staff to develop, but those opportunities go underutilized. Why? Which learning platforms work and which do not?  We will discuss barriers to the full utilization of development opportunities. Doug will lead our discussion on staff development.  You are invited to bring a direct report.
