Renaissance Executive Forums Indiana
Regional CIO Forum Meeting
December 10, 2021, In-person Event
Nimble IT and Ransomware Case Study
The December meeting is a must-attend. In addition to our regular segments, we will discuss two engaging topics, nimble IT and a ransomware case study.
Nimble IT
Bob Francis, SDI CIO will lead a discussion about nimble IT. Many chief information officers lean toward standardization and centralization to manage aspects of IT like scale, cost, and security but is that right for all companies and industries? Bob's approach to nimble IT consider these issues and more like culture, the regulatory environment, and the speed to market. This will be a lively discussion which we will all learn.
Ransomware Case Study
Tech writers state that ransomware attacks increased in 2021*. We will investigate the lessons learned in a recent ransom attack. For most businesses, it will be much more than restoring from backup. This is an opportunity to learn from others, which could result in threat prevention and avoidance.
